Slidell Rocks Climbing Gym was founded in 2005 by Tru X-treme Enterprises, L.L.C.
It was 4 years in the making from the time the concept came about to the opening of the doors for the first time.
We opened 5 months before Hurricane Katrina. After the storm it took us 3 1/2 months to rebuild. We, just like many of our neighbors, had taken damage. In December of 2005, Slidell Rocks re-opened for business once again.
Slidell Rocks Climbing Gym offers the best in Top-Rope, Bouldering and Lead Climbing.
We have 16 different Top-Rope walls that span almost 40 feet in the air. We have Slab Walls, High and Low Overhangs, Angled Walls, Corners, an awesome Aret and offer 2 bouldering rooms.
As you enter the gym and turn the corner, you come to "The Cave". This is our bouldering cave. It offers some really cool angles. There is a mini Aret and an Arch from one side of the room to the other.
When you are ready for a break, our Concession Area will provide you with plenty of drinks and snacks. We have a couple of TV to keep up with your favorite Team.
